BTEC Course

The BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma is equivalent to 3 A-levels. It is a 2 year, full time education programme. It is also worth up to 168 UCAS points (DDD*).

Our heavily based practical BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is equivalent to 3 A-levels (D*D*D*) and is worth up to 168 UCAS Points. Our course has been specially designed for 16-18 year olds who want to take their dance training to the next level.

The tailored course is a 2 year, full time education programme based within the award winning UYDC Dance School. Students will develop their dance skills by participating in a range of high-level classes taught by specialists within their fields. 

Our bespoke course is fully funded and will give learners the opportunity to develop not only their dance and performing art skills but also unleash a range of other skills needed to be industry ready whilst ensuring that each individual maximises their full potential.

This course is designed for individuals aged between 16 – 18 years of age .

​Including unique student enrichment hours, performance opportunities and Tutorials.

​Our performing arts training is within the subjects; 
Commercial Dance, Contemporary, Singing, Acting, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Jazz, and Audition technique. Ensuring our students gain the essential practical skill sets, as well as theoretical knowledge and professionalism within the industry. 

4 GSCE’s – Grade 4 and above. Including Maths and English.

If grade requirements have not been met , our course offers a resit options in Maths and English
